Cognitive Processing Therapy (Trauma Therapy)
Have you experienced trauma that has kept you stuck in your life? Do you have thoughts like I am not good enough, I will never find love, I am always going to be alone, Nothing is safe, I can't trust anyone, etc... Those thoughts replay in your mind every day which keeps you stuck in trauma.

For some people, there are memories and intrusions that feel overwhelming. You may have nightmares, struggle with sleep, have trouble trusting people, not be able to feel safe and comfortable in your skin, difficulty concentrating, or other symptoms related to PTSD.

When those symptoms come up it becomes a habit to want to push them away and we then block ourselves from recovering. We avoid through aggression, passive aggressiveness, substance use, binging or purging, suppressing or numbing emotions, dissociation, ignoring thoughts, physical/somatic complaints, or social withdrawal.

It is time to confront your trauma and work through avoidance. If you are interested in starting cognitive processing therapy, please reach out via email or phone to set up an intake appointment to explore if you are a good fit for individual or group therapy.
